Our Studio Performance Showcase is an opportunity for our students to perform and present the classroom material that is covered over the semester. It is an alternative to a recital, as we feel that class time should be devoted to the learning of technique rather than solely learning routines. This is also a great time to watch the progression from level to level and to see the many dance styles we offer at our Studio.

The Chico Community Ballet is a training company for the serious ballet student, ages 8-Adult. Dancers are selected at auditions held in August. The companies emphasize a performing experience beyond that which is offered in the school. Their performances include a main stage production as well as smaller community service events. The Pre-Company will not be included in the full length production. Dancers in the company are required to take 1-6 classes per week, depending on level, at the school and receive a scholarship class specifically designed to enhance their technique and artistry.
The Friends of the Chico Community Ballet, Inc. sponsor these companies. FCCB is a Federal and State non-profit Educational Corporation. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and are gratefully received.
Audition Class: $10
Please arrive 30 minutes early to register & bring a parent if you are under the age of 18.
