Chico Creek Dance provides exceptional dance training for all styles of dance. We are the leading dance studio in Northern California that has been providing the highest quality of dance education for over 40 years. Our mission is to cultivate a life long appreciation for dance through professional performances that will inspire the next generation with a quality education exceptional artistry the connects with the community through our meaningful and inclusive dance program. Training at CCD focuses on developmentally appropriate instruction and dancer health for each student. Our teaching staff has over 40 years of experience bringing high quality artistic training to students ranging from 2.5 years to adults. Our faculty has danced professionally and understands first hand the elements required for an artist's development.


Meet Chico Creek Dance Owner's

Julie and Jake Gonzales are owner's of Chico Creek Dance and proudly serve our arts community in Chico, CA. They have lived in CA since 2005 after relocating from life in Colorado. Their two oldest daughters Annie and Willow have been active at dancing at Chico Creek Dance for over 12 years. They also have been a part of Chico Community Ballet in their pre-professional ballet program for over 10 years. Julie has been highly involved with Chico Community Ballet over the last 10 years as Costume Coordinator for their full-length ballets. She carries a great passion for designing and creating costumes for  the dancers and seeing the magic of the full-length productions from start to finish. Jake has been known for special appearances in Chico  Community Ballets Full-Length Ballets of A Very Chico Nutcracker, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. The youngest Gonzales daughter Bella enjoys her time taking swim lessons and doing art! They all enjoy making sure to spend lots of time hiking, finding great bookstores, San Francisco Giants baseball games and taking road trips throughout the US.
